Terms of use
These terms cover the use of thebuiltreview.com and the reports published on it. Using the site means you accept them.
What TBR is
The Built Review is independent editorial research on how the built environment affects people. The reports are information, not advice. Nothing here is investment, legal, medical or engineering advice, and no report creates a client relationship. Decisions you make from a report are your own.
Accuracy
Every report names its sources and dates its data, and the position is signed. The work is done carefully, but research moves and sources can be wrong. TBR gives no guarantee that a report is complete or current, and corrects errors of fact at the foot of the affected report.
Using the content
The text of the reports is the author's work and stays his. Image sources and licences are listed under credits. You may read and link to TBR freely, and quote short passages with attribution to The Built Review and a link to the source. Republishing whole reports, or copying the site for systematic or automated reuse, needs written permission first. Write to contact@thebuiltreview.com.
Subscription and access
Reports are free to read right now. Later, the research will move behind a subscription and single reports will stay available individually. Paid terms, prices and cancellation will be set out here before any charge applies.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, TBR is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on a report. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and any liability that cannot be excluded by law, is unaffected.
Governing law
German law applies. Where you take part as a consumer, the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence still protect you.
Changes
These terms may change. The version on this page is the one that applies.
